Well I had to take the Monday off!! Chipmonk face and pain not on my side!!

After watching so much TV I have square eyes! So have been mooching around Betty Zee Towers.... sorry not too much into crafting even though I have ideas just not into making it happen.... so as not to waste my time totally I have had a clear out ready for the car boot season coming up at the end of March.... lucky I have a garage!!

This is one of my kaftan faves....





Great split and great design.....

I feel like a lopsided chipmunk my right side jaw looks like I have gone at least 2 rounds with some heavy weight boxer, only no it was the little lady dentist who took out my tooth... you have to watch the slight ones they have tugging abilities that can't be matched!!... but I ventured outside anyways! More to stop the cabin fever...






Very cold but nice and toasty in my Aryan cardi belted with a wide leather belt, and mohair yellow scarf to cover the offending sight!....





..and great print 70s skirt... now I know that a year of so ago H&M bought out a print similar to this BUT this is the real thang...





... I must say I am very attached to my little Aryan knitted hat with a little tassle!.... Happy Sundays!

After yesterdays extraction I surely don't think I am up for going out.... I don't want to inflict my double sized jaw to anyone!! I think that even my kitten girls are looking at me strangely! A day for lounging in my cotton early 80s retro kaftan.....

A day late I am afraid as was not in good enough shape after the surgery to do my lovely poses haha!

So you might remember that I was supposed to have a wisdom tooth out last November (reminder) well I haven't told you what happpened well they were supposed to sedate me. Can you believe it they couldn't get a line in!! SO we had to remake the appointment to 28th January for them to have a go... today!!

NOW I was a little early so to keep me occupied I popped me into a local charity shop and the lovely manageress kindly took my photo so at least I had a reminder of what I was wearing on this fateful day.....





Just so you know I am not kidding my Eastman Dental Hospital card in all its glory!!





...later....I did debate asking for the tooth... they did show me it but they said that they have to get rid of it as it is considered surgical waste..... although I am sure that you wouldn't want to see it.... I am very proud though as the nurse said that I have very long roots.... mind you as I was coming around I thought that she was talking about my hair and apparently told the nurse that I would make an appointment at the hairdressers!hahaha

A day for the rolling out of my new heavy 50s thick woolen cardigan (also known as 'Cowichan' bought from the fab 'Cenci' vintage shop that we visited in West Norward on Saturday. I'm hoping to pop down again in a few weeks to interview the lovely owner Dede.... watch this space...

Well a little trip down to see Liisa in South London went swimmingly!!
We did the standard charity shop rummage and then a stop at a fantastic vintage shop. Then lunch at a lovely Portuguese cafe, then popped around to Liisa's gaffe and then a cinema trip to see 'The King's Speech' which was great. We were so busy I forgot to take a picture for the post! So as we were leaving the Ritzy I did a very quick pose!!






...such a sweet little mouse print on the skirt...








I am very found of my silver picture lockett... happy days...

Vintage French English Postcards 1

Did I tell you that I went through a faze when I collected vintage postcards! I thought that I would start documenting them for all to see.

This is a special one sent from France during World War I. Of course there is a whole history behind postcards the ones sent during the war I find particularly poignant.

I got the little horse necklace from Craftacular in Bethnal Green last year.... the green acgate stone necklace from a charity shop and early gold and stone bracelet from ebay yonks ....have passed since I acquired them...
