What are you wearing today Betty Zee? 6th November 2011
I LOVE THIS JACKET!!! An amazing example of a souvenir jacket! Made in the 1950s in Mexico. It was tradition that as the American tourists started going to Mexico for their holidays women would sell these jackets on the roadside. Mostly with pictures of Mexican people going around their business, also dancing as well as just beautiful flowers. I have 3 of them! This one, another with a couple dancing and one with gorgeous flowers! All made of wool and hand embroidered! They are getting harder to find in reasonable condition! I am very 'honoured' to own these! In the coming days I will wear the others!!
