The Joy of Vintage - Watford
well as I said we popped up to Watford at the weekend to take a little looky at 'THE JOY OF VINTAGE'! a great thing for Watford if you ask me and and loads of stalls selling everything from Vintage clothes, chairs, jewellery to displays of dancing and a little pop up cafe selling tea and cakes!! By far my favourite stall VANITYS VINTAGE was selling vintage glasses.....now if you go to many vintage fairs you may have noticed that there really aren't that many people specialising in vintage glasses! Well this lovely lady does and as a qualified optician she can give you advice as well as being really approachable and friendly....!

Well this is one of my favourite 50s frocks everything about it I loooveee! The colour, print and the petticoat! Jamie and I went to 'THE JOY OF VINTAGE FAIR' in Watford! A friendly and understated joy! I came across a fab and I must say my favourite stall selling glasses Vanitys Vintage and the ones I have on were definitely a one off!!!!! Much better than 'Specsavers'!! But I do love them even if for me I don't think I have the guts to wear them!! Shame!

This is a gorgeous 50s dress which nearly got blown away in the wind!!
Then a little meal in the local gastro pub!.... but it's getting a little bit chilly to wear backless halterneck eh!! Probably one of the last chances .... but you never know how you can get around it .... maybe a little t'shirt underneath..?

Vintage 50s Barkcloth Fabric
Well my lovely friend Carol bought me some flowers the other day as I had been unwell. I thought that it would be nice to put them into one of my favourite 20s flower vases. In fact it is the first one that I ever bought from Denham Carboot about 5 years ago!! Also, here is this fab 50s barkcloth fabric that I recently picked up with really cool fruits and flowers!! Happy Days!
