Just a quick visit to the docs to get my cold looked at .... and to get some antibiotics.... and then a visit to Pop Boutique to see my friends! It would be rude not to have a little looky around....

I was thinking of ways to celebrate the wedding and yet still do a post related to vintage! Well have you not noticed how many charity shops have done little windows to celebrate!!!

Must also admit it is so nice to see the streets with bunting and flags... not only in central London but villages like Chesham, in Buckinghamshire!

I've decided to take some time off between our two bank holidays and of course the Royal Wedding, everyone it seems is going Kate and William crazy.... personally I think it is because we are having an extra day off and the weather has been good but hey that is my idea... but still nice to see the bunting out and people enjoying the good weather.... I've been updating Vintage Betty Zee today relaxing a little bit but .... will take a little look around later to get some fresh air! I think that I over did it a bit this weekend and now this dreaded chesty cold just doesn't want to budge...

Alas.. gorg 'Z' necklace has lost one of her pearls help! Looks like she is going to be out of commission until I can see if Nicky from 'Gemmeus' can fix her! This barkcloth 70s dress is so bright James nearly had to wear sunglasses!!

Another sunny hot day I've been looking forward to going to the Hyde End Craft Show again to see what is on show and also of course to see the fab Nicky Wade of 'Gemmeus'. The lovely lady who made the famous 'Z' that I wear! More on Gemmeus to come!

It seemed a perfect day for a vintage Mexican embroidered dress!

Very annoying...I haven't had a cold not even a sniffle for 2 years and then suddenly from nowhere comes this nasty chest cough and head cold... just before EASTER holidays!....and to make it worse the weather is glorious!!! Just my luck.... but then just my luck an excuse to lounge around with tiger balm on my chest, a big fat red nose and this full armed 70s kaftan ....very interesting design I must confess I haven't seen this style before...!

The sunny days continue so we decided to go for a picnic in Regents Park, London. I popped on this amazing 50s embroidered wrap skirt, H&M top, 70s necklaces.... can't wait for the Summer!

Only down the road and a quick trip to Marks and Spencer for some little bits and a stroll into the (in my view) best park in London! the Queen Elisabeth Garden is one of my favourite places in there so we sat for a while ... in a few months the roses will be out and the gorgeous fragrances of all the varieties will be filling the air!!!

What a day and a half up early cos of the kitten girls no lie in for me!! I threw on a Biba t shirt great design, and 70s denium skirt that was once a cream colour that caught up with a pink sock... so I then had to redye the entire skirt...oh well!!





Collection from the postoffice, food shopping and cleaning and it wasn't even 9am!! Then haveing a little looky around the charity shops (a dry weekend for bits)!

But there was a little Vintage Car exhibition. Now I am not that into cars but they were very charming mind you... I wouldn't mind a wiz around in an Austin Healey!!!



Then home and gardening that grass needs a cutting....







and then I just crashed...on the sofa, not in the Austin Healey!!!!
